About Me

Me?
I am a sewing enthusiast who loves for the projects I start to turn out the way I want them too. This is not always the case but I do have fun trying.
I enjoyed sewing when I was at school and even afterwards when I bought my first and only sewing machine many years later. It wasn't until I had my daughter that I have really and truly loved sewing. All the dresses and sweet little girls clothes has bought out a passion for sewing in me. I love looking and feeling all sorts of fabric that go from nothing to something special.
I am still fairly new to sewing and have so much to learn. I love that there are awesome people in the Internet world that share all their ideas, patterns and tips of the trade via tutorials. I have found tutorials to be invaluable therefore I plan to share as many as I can.

I have 3 children and a wonderful man in my life. Our twin boys, Hunter and Zade, are turning 5 very soon and our daughter, Chelsea, is nearly 2. Our life is hectic and chaotic so at the end of each day when the kids are in bed, we relax! This is when I sew.

Why Pentland St.?
My great Nana lived on Pentland Street. It's where I spent a lot of time growing up. It's a place where I learnt so much. I learnt how to play the piano (very badly), look after and care for plants, play cards, bake beautiful cakes, biscuits and piklets, how to sew, how to make jam, how to play housie (bingo) and the importance of taking pride in yourself. My Nana taught me some amazing things and I loved spending so much time with her. I owe a lot of who I am today to her.
